Efe Can Aktaşlı is currently enrolled in the master’s degree program at the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Gümüşhane University. Levantine, of which he is co-director, together with Cihat Yakışık, was recently selected as a finalist in the TRT Future Communicators Documentary Category. The short film Alarga, for which he was director of photography, received first prize at the 16th Environmental Film Festival.

Their movie "Levantine" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2021.
