Born in Iğdır in 1998, Onur Can Atlı graduated from the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Gümüşhane University’s Faculty of Communications. He has worked on a number of short fiction and documentary films at the Gümüşhane Film Workshop (GÜFA).

His first film "Remaining in Derik" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2021.
