Vicky Markolefa is a visual storyteller and media expert who has worked with prominent organizations and institutions including the European Commission, UNEP, Euronews, WWF and Medecins Sans Frontieres. Her projects have received recognition at international awards, festivals, and exhibitions. In 2016, she co-founded the award-winning creative team Mind The Bump Productions, where she works as a documentary director and producer. Her 2018 documentary shot in the Cyclades, Egeo The Sea and Me, received awards for Best Ecological Documentary from the Short Cuts Film Festival in Serbia and Festival Awards from the Cinema and You International Film Festival in Ukraine and the Lerapetra International Documentary Film Festival in Greece.

"Indigenius Loci" premiered in March 2022 at the prestigious Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival was selected for screeninf at Foça Film Days 2022.
