Born in Izmir in 1988, Nesli Özalp Tuncer completed her Bachelor’s degree at Ege University’s Department of Radio, Television and Cinema and her Master’s degree at the 9 Eylül University Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design. Özalp is the founder of the Izmir Film Office, and since 2014 she has run the Film Office of the Bornova Municipality. As an independent director, her films have screened at numerous festivals and won awards at both the national and international levels. 

Yunus Tuncer was born in Izmir in 1986 and graduated from the Fashion Accessory Design Department of 9 Eylül University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Tuncer has experience working in different artistic disciplines. He has been teaching photography to children and adults since 2008, and in 2014, he stared making documentary films. Tuncer currently works as a photography instructor at a private school  

Their film "Ederlezi - Spring Comes to the Neighborhood" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2022.
